UAE Team Emirates rider is 10th in GC after ITT

Diego Ulissi took the 17th time on the 23,5 km course of the Critérium du Dauphiné’s stage 4 individual time trial. Stage won by Richie Porte, who moves in second place of the Overall Ranking, who beat the word champion Tony Martin by 12’’ and Alejandro Valverde by 24’’, now third in GC.

 

“I was happy of my performance” said Diego Ulissi “because the course was for people more powerful than me, in some places the speed was really fast, I did my max and the feeling was good, that is really important”.

 

Now Ulissi is 10th in general classification with a gap of 1’22’’ from the leader De Gendt.

 

Tomorrow stage 5 from Le Tour-de-Salvagny to Macon on 175.5. km, last opportunity for the sprinters in this Critérium du Dauphiné stage race, before beginning to climb the mountains.
