UAE Team Emirates head for Bretagne Classic

Robust line-up announced for French Classic

UAE Team Emirates will take on their next World Tour appointment at the Bretagne Classic – Oust -France this Saturday (3 September) in the western province of France.
The Emirati team will send a seven-rider squad who will dispute the French World Tour Classic formerly known as the ‘GP Plouay’.

 

 

The team is packed with a mix of both youth and experience with the likes of Matteo Trentin having achieved top-10 results in Plouay in the past. The in-form Felix Grossschartner also gets a call-up having recently taken 2nd overall at the Deutschland Tour.

 

 

The race will see the debut for young Jan Christen who steps up to compete in his first World Tour race and at just 19 will be the youngest starter in the event.

 

 

The team will work under the guidance of Sports Director Andrej Hauptman (Slo).
