UAE Team Emirates confirm line-ups for Andalucía & Algarve

UAE Team Emirates will aim to continue their strong start to the 2024 campaign with two early season stage racing objectives : the Vuelta Andalucia (14-18 Feb) in Spain and the Volta Algarve (14-18 Feb) in Portugal.

Juan Ayuso will lead a team with depths of experience in Spain while Marc Hirschi spearheads a pack of exciting young talents in Portugal.

Ayuso : “I’m really exciting to be racing the Vuelta Andalucia for the first time in my career and kicking off my season. It’s always a pleasure to race in Spain and it gives a bit of extra motivation. We have a really strong and experienced team for the race. We’re going in as defending champions too from last year so we’ll be going in with the aim to defend that title.”

The team in Andalucía will count on Sports Manager Matxin Fernandez (Spa) for the opening stages alongside Fabrizio Guidi (Ita) and Manuele Mori (Ita) while Simone Pedrazzini (Swi) and Tomas Gil (Ven) will oversee the squad in Algarve.
