National championships: Ulissi 2nd and Mohoric 3rd
Good performance from Swift too in Britain
The best result for UAE Team Emirates in the National Championships came from Italy, thanks to Diego Ulissi who obtained the 2nd place in the road race: in Ivrea, at the end of a 245 km demanding course, he was preceded by Aru.
Podium for Mohoric too in Slovenia (photo): the young talented rider was preceded in the final sprint by the winner Mezgec and by Bole, obtaining the 3rd place. They were members of a 7 riders breakaway which had gone clear after 20 km in the race.
Good feedbacks in view of the Tour de France from the Isle of Man, where Swift led the British championship in the final of the race, before that Cummings made a winning solo attack. Swift was out of the podium.

25 June, road, Gdynia (261 km): Niemiec, 210 km covered in his return to races after the injuries occurred during the Tour of Croatia.
