Bretagne Classic: Kristoff aims for a podium

UAE Team Emirates will be in France for the 52nd edition of the Bretagne Classic – Ouest-France this Sunday, August 26.

 

The course over the circuit covers 260km, with the last 14.7km in the city of Plouay, suits sprinters.

 

Alexander Kristoff, already the winner in 2015 and always on the podium in the last three editions, will lead the Emirates team. “I know the race and the route well,” he said. “I’m ready to get the best possible result in this classic.”

 

Sports Director Simone Pedrazzini has clear ides: “With Kristoff already a winner and in the last two editions on the podium, we have high expectations. In a race of 260km and with Alexander in good form, like he showed last Sunday in Hamburg, he will be our clear leader and he will have support from very experienced men like Bono, Costa, Polanc, Swift, Ulissi, plus our young Ganna.”
