Ayuso top-5 at Klasika Ordizia
Attacking racing from young Spaniard
Juan Ayuso took another step in his continued progression with 4th place at the Klasika Ordizia in Spain today.
The 19 year old put in an aggressive display, attacking in various points of the race before Rui Costa and Jan Polanc put in strong turns to heavily reduce the bunch on the final climb at -10km. Simon Yates (BikeExchange) jumped clear to take a solo victory with Ayuso taking 4th from an elite chasing group.
In Tour de Wallonie there was also aggressive racing on display from the Emirati contingent with Matteo Trentin and Ivo Oliveira in the main breakaway of the day in Belgium.
The quality of the breakaway meant that the gap to the bunch was never given much leeway and it was brought back for a sprint won by Arnaud de Lie (Lotto-Soudal) with Oliviero Troia entering the top-10 with a 8th place on the finish into Rochefort.
Tomorrow the race continues for Stage 4 on a lumpy course from Durbuy to Couvin (200.8km).
