World Tour calendar continues with Tour de Pologne
Gaviria and Ulissi lead the line in Poland
UAE Team Emirates will take aim at their next World Tour appointment as they head for the Tour de Pologne which runs from 9-15 August.
The seven stages offer opportunities mainly for the sprinters and the puncheurs which will favour the likes of Fernando Gaviria and Diego Ulissi who will both seek opportunities during the week.
Gaviria : “I’ve won here in Poland in the past and it’s a place I like to race. My condition has been good, and me and the team will be aiming for wins.I’ve had lots of close finishes and podiums this year and I’m pretty hungry to improve on that this week.”
The squad will be overseen by Sports Directors Fabio Baldato (Ita) and Marco Marzano (Ita) .
