UAE Team Emirates for Vuelta Burgos

UAE Team Emirates will continue their string of races on the Iberian Peninsula with the Vuelta Burgos which runs from 2-6 August.

The race traditionally serves as a build up to the upcoming Vuelta España, which depart from the Netherlands on August 19th.

Portuguese talent Joao Almeida will lead the teams GC hopes while Fernando Gaviria will look for some late season form in the sprints.

The team will also welcome stagiaire Oliver Knight, with the 21-year old all-rounder coming on board with the team for the remainder of the season. The Milton Keynes native arrives from the French amateur outfit A.V.C Aix en Provence and will debut in Burgos.

The squad will be overseen by Team Manager Joxean Matxin Fernandez (Spa) alongside Sports Directors Manuele Mori (Ita) and Aart Vierhouten (Ned).
