UAE Team Emirates for San Sebastian and Tour of Poland

UAE Team Emirates have announced teams for the upcoming races with the San Sebastian Classic on Sat 29 July preceded by the Ordizia Classic (Fri 28) and the Circuito de Getxo the following day on Sun 30 July in Spain.

Another block of riders will head east for the Tour de Pologne from 29 July – 4 August.
The team for San Sebastian takes a line-up packed with ambition, headlined by the young Spanish talent Juan Ayuso.

Team Manager Joxean Matxin Fernandez (Spa) and Sports Directors Fabrizio Guidi (Ita) and Tomas Gill (Ven) will lead the 7 riders at San Sebastian and the other Spanish classics while Fabio Baldato (Ita) and Marco Marzano (Ita) will take charge in Poland.

Ayuso: “I’ve had a nice training block in Andorra in the build up with my teammates and it’s been a good period both on and off the bike. We have some big goals for this last part of the season and I’m excited to get things started again in San Sebastian. It’s a hard, explosive race but I think we have strong cards to play.”

For Tour de Pologne Pascal Ackermann will go hunting sprint opportunities while Davide Formolo and Diego Ulissi will hope to be active in the hillier terrain.
