Tour of Slovenia for UAE Team Emirates
Experienced team for five-day stage race
As the Tour de France looms on the horizon, UAE Team Emirates will head to Slovenia to take part in the Tour of Slovenia from 14-18 June.
The race marks an opportunity to add to the teams impressive victory tally of 31 so far this season, with an experienced and versatile squad led by Diego Ulissi and home favourite Domen Novak. While Sebastian Molano and Tim Wellens both make their return to competition.
Novak: “Obviously this is a very special race for me. To be on home roads and racing in Slovenia in front of family and friends is something unique. Last year I had a good result here and I hope we can do something similar this time around. We have a very strong team here with a good mix of riders so we’re feeling confident and prepared for the week ahead.”
The team will be guided by the Sports Director duo of Marco Marcato (Ita) and Manuele Mori (Ita).
